#10 Buy My Wardrobe? I'm so there!

Somewhere in the heart of London, away from the crowd and bustle that is the high street comes the fabulous designer fashion recycling event! Yes Ladies, I’m talking about Buy My Wardrobe!! The brainchild of fashion designer Kal Kaur Rai, it’s the event that brings together 20 carefully selected Wardrobe Mistresses who sell the contents of their amazing designer wardrobes to discerning members of the public. With wardrobes from 20 different girls there will be a huge range and style to suit all tastes and budgets. As well as vintage, couture, boutique brands and up and coming designers from around the world, expect to find a treasure trove of cut price fashion royalty from Chloe and Marc Jacobs to Yves Saint Laurent and Gucci. And not to put a downer on your spirits but with the current economic climate this event allows you to tap into your inner recessionista as you get to buy fantastic designer gems but at a hugely discounted price

To give you guys a bit more insider info this event which is happening on 25th July at Adam Street Members Club, is the 5th Buy My Wardrobe event (so they are definitely doing something right) – I personally have attended and been involved with the last three events and to say there is a buzz is an understatement. There are usually queues of girls waiting for the doors to open with the excitement that something great is in store for them and once the doors are open all you can see are girls with determined glints in their eyes as they charge in to find that gem!! Combined with champagne, personal styling as well as beauty treatments it really is such a fantastic fun shopping experience.

For the upcoming event the wardrobe mistresses will include the CEO of Gucci, fashion editors and stylists. Top celebrity stylist, Zoe Lem will also be offering personal styling sessions for £25 and beauticians from the Powder Lounge will offer eyelash extensions, threading, massage and manicures. There will also be a Revamp room in which fashion designers will advise and give sewing-machine demonstrations on how to adapt your current garments into next season’s hot looks. Vip tickets cost £20 and standard tickets are £5 see the website for more details http://www.buymywardrobe.com/

Sounds great doesn’t it? Hope to see you all there

Xoxo
